I'm Dennis Klappe
Software Developer
I'm a 25-year-old Dutch developer building websites, web apps, and automation through Klappe Development. Most of my work is custom software that takes repetitive manual work off people's hands: internal tools, integrations between systems that were never meant to talk to each other, and full backends on Cloudflare. Some of it ends up on GitHub as open source.
I graduated in July 2026 as an Industrial Design Engineer (ir./MSc) from the University of Twente, where my master's thesis went into democratising 5-axis 3D printing through Rep5x. That engineering background still shows up in the software I write, and I keep it alive through 3Dennis, my CAD and 3D printing business. I love creating things, solving problems, and turning ideas into reality.
