I'm Dennis Klappe
Software Developer
I'm a 26-year-old Dutch developer building websites, web apps, and automation through Klappe Development. Most of my work is custom software that takes repetitive manual work off people's hands: internal tools, integrations between systems that were never meant to talk to each other, and full backends on Cloudflare. Some of it ends up on GitHub as open source. Since October 2026 I also work as Innovation Developer at Artica, using AI to improve internal processes.
I graduated in July 2026 as an Industrial Design Engineer (ir./MSc) from the University of Twente, where my master's thesis went into democratising 5-axis 3D printing through Rep5x. That engineering background still shows up in the software I write, and I keep it alive through 3Dennis, my CAD and 3D printing business. I love creating things, solving problems, and turning ideas into reality.
